Auld Lang Syne

Wishes For The New Year!
Peace, Love, Hope, Joy, Health, Happiness

Take time to let friends and loved ones know how
much it means to have them in our life.

Take time to enjoy each and every blessing!

The heart, like the mind has a memory,
and in it are the most precious keepsakes.

Remembering 2009

Looking back on months gone by,
we contemplate what brought us joy.

Cowboy took a big step and got hearing aids.
I am so proud of him for being diligent and
wearing them everyday.

He doesn't ignore me anymore!

My boy, DUSTY

I am one lucky Cowgirl to have you in my life.

I am comminted to you.

Silly Boy!

Doc and I worked for 70 days with this guy
on biting.

Thank you Doc for all your patience.

quiet nicker, soft nuzzle, my sanity

Sunlight, GODS love shines bright...

Remembering all the happy times...

Remembering how they enriched our lives.

Wishing you a year where life is peaceful...

A year in which you cherish the past years memories.

To our DREAMS...

May we never stop believing in them,

Make them a reality.

My childhood bike.

I spent a lot of time riding "Rocket" this summer.
Made me feel like a little girl,
with no worries!

Live your life each new day,
full of bright expectations.

Another year, another chance
to start our lives anew.

Dear Lord,

In the new year, we pray that you will guide us each
new day in the paths that are pleasing to You.

the new year gives us another chance to
rededicate our lives to You,
to study Your Word
so that we know right from wrong and
to act in accordance with Your commands.
Thank You for the sense of direction,
purpose and peace we get from
aligning our lives with the Holy will.

We pray for the strength and the will to obey You
each and everyday of the new year and when we fall,

We pray for Your mercy,
Your compassion, Your grace, Your love.

Help us in the new year to be Your Faithful servants.

In Jesus' name we pray,

Letters To Santa

I love Christmas!
Especially memories...
I always get so sentimental!
These are very special letters to Santa from
my Pony Girl and Paint Girl.

A few years ago for a Christmas gift
I framed some of their letters.
I will cherish them forever.

Sentimental Journey

On my way to work today, I started crying.
This time of year always takes me on a sentimental journey.
You see,
I've lost some very special loved ones during the holidays.
"Sadness flies away on the wings of time"

Cowboys Mother
Violet Lavane Angel
Nana Vi
She was my "Angel"
She was my mother-in-law...
She was my friend.
I miss her terribly.

"A Gift For You"
What could I give you that you'd keep for all time?
I'd give you the world, but the world isn't mine.
I'd give you the moon to shine everyday,
And give you the sun to brighten your way.
But I don't own the world, or the moon up above.
So all I can give you is all of my love.
It may not be much, but at least it is mine,
And now it is yours
To keep for all time.

Uncle Lester
Dec 22,1997
My mother's brother
My Uncle Lester lived out of state.
We only saw him every few years.
But one thing I always knew, even when I was a little girl,
was how much he loved my sisters and I.
I regret not being able to spend more time with him.
My Great-grandmother "Nanny"
We lost her on Christmas day many years ago.
She was so sweet and loved all her grandchildren.

I miss you Papa and Buba.
Papa always called us "Prunies"
We always opened our presents on Christmas Eve.
Buba was a bartender at the Eagles, and they served
Tom & Jerry's at Christmas.
So three little girls waited patiently for them to arrive
so we could open our presents!
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us everyday.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed, and very dear.

O Christmas Tree

Deck the halls with boughs of holly
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
Tis the season to be jolly'
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la

Don we now our gay apparel
Fa-la-la-la-la-la, la-la-la

Troll the ancient Yule-tide carol
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la!

I wasn't in the mood to do much decorating this year,
but "PONY Girl" expects it.
So I had to get busy!

How steadfast are your branches!

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
Dressed in Holiday style.
In the air there's a feeling of CHRISTMAS!

These lovely ceramic angels once belonged to our friend "POP"

I grew up loving these beautiful ornaments

Said the night wind to the little lamb
Do you see what I see
Way up in the sky little lamb
Do you see what I see
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite.

Said the little lamb to the Shepard boy
Do you hear what I hear
Ringing through the sky, Shepard boy,
Do you hear what I hear
A song, a song, high above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea.

This wonderful nativity set was "Pops too."
I was going to get rid of it, and my niece Sares ,
knew I would regret it, so she saved it for me.

Thank you sweetie girl!

Said the Shepard to the mighty king,
Do you know what I know
In your palace warm, mighty king,
Do you know what I know
A Child, a Child shivers in the cold
Let us bring Him silver and gold
Let us bring him silver and gold.

Said the King to the people everywhere,
Listen to what I say
Pray for peace, people, everywhere,
Listen to what I say
The Child, the Child, sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light.

My dollar tree CHRISTMAS trees.
Santa came from Goodwill.

Rocking around the CHRISTMAS tree,
At the CHRISTMAS party hop.
Mistletoe hung where you can see
Every couple tries to stop.

Rocking around the CHRISTMAS tree,
Let the CHRISTMAS spirit ring
Later we'll have some pumpkin pie,
And we'll do some caroling.

Here comes Santa Claus!
Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane!
Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
Are pulling on the reins.
Bells are ringing, children singing,
All is merry and bright.
Hang your stockings and say your prayers,
'Cause Santa Claus if coming tonight.

Cowboy's Mothers CHRISTMAS tree

I'm dreaming of a white CHRISTMAS,
Just like the ones I used to know.
Where the tree tops glisten,
And Children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow!
Jesus is the reason for the Season!
