blew His breath over it and created the horse.

Life Is A Journey

Do you ever feel like you can't find the end of the road?

Feel like you're always spinning your wheels?

Can't see the light at the end of the tunnel?

I feel that way a lot of days.

Wonder what God 's plan is ?

It is good to have an end to journey towards,

but it is the journey that matters, in the end.

Horse Show

My sister, A Cowgirls Grace and I were going to ride

on Saturday, but decided to go to a horse show.

We had 5 gals from our stable showing. Sometimes we

get in a rut. Do the same thing over and over and over.

Change is good.

We really enjoyed ourselves.

The girls did awesome!

I thought I'd share this with you.

I know a lot of you have mixed feelings about this

kind of performance.

I found it interesting.

But wonder about the future health of these horses.

What do you think?

Peek A Boo Tuesday

Welcome to Peek A Boo Tuesday
Hosted by
"A Cowgirl's Grace"
You all know that the thing I LOVE to do the most
is spend time with my copper pony.
He is my PASSION. I would move to the barn and
share his stall if I could!!!
Before Dusty came into my life I had another passion.
Enter my door and see my past addiction!
BEACHCOMBING!!!
Yes, I was a beachcombing addict.
Sunset at the beach where we lived .
I would spend hours, and hours and HOURS looking for treasures.
Rosie was my constant beach companion.
In fact, Cowboy was addicted too, and all of our friends.
Cowgirls Grace and I would pack a lunch and
spend 4 to 5 hours out there.
Sometimes we would spot the same agate shining
down the beach and run for it!!!
WE would race to see who would get out there first in the morning.
We would have to brag about our finds for the day.
Who had the biggest!
Who had the prettiest!
How many!
Sometimes you would come upon treasures like these
and be in heaven.
Other times you would see them poking out of the sand and
you would have to dig them up.
I have not been beachcombing for 2 years.
I have been thinking about it a lot lately.
It is best to go out right after it has been really stormy.

Love seeing the wildlife.
Seagulls, blue heron, seals

Agates and petrified wood
bright sunlight usually helps by reflecting glint or gleams

buoys

sea glass~prized gems
smooth, frosty, opaque
tossed, weathered
smashed many, many times into the ocean floor
polished by waves and sand
glass floats

I can feel the excitement just looking at this!
digging to see what I can find
I never could get enough!
I would tell myself just one more when I found something.
One more would always be five, or ten or twenty more!
I could not stop!
I was ADDICTED!
I have had my treasures packed away.
I think it is time to bring them out to show you soon!

Dusty Rocks

It's here!
I am so excited!
Doc helped me set things up today. Dusty was all over him.
He was so funny.
I thought he was just really happy to see
him and wanted some lovin'! Doc is trying' to quit smoking.
He had some non-tabacco mint flavored snoose in his mouth
and that was what Dusty was smelling.
He wanted some.

The copper pony would not leave him alone!

Dusty moved around so much, my pictures are blurry!

Doc finally gave Dusty some "snoose" to try!
He loved it! I will have to get him some
peppermint treats.

This is my favorite picture.
Again he's moving his head all over the place.

Dusty was so good during all of this.
Thank you Doc for all your help, and for
your PATIENCE with my boy for bugging the heck out of you!

I love this color on Dusty.
I'm hoping to get the matching breast color and headstall soon.

Here we are. All dressed up.
The copper pony has not been ridden in two months.
He was a bit bored with the arena today.
It is not his favorite thing to do.
He thought he needed to go left when I wanted to go right!
It felt good to be back in the saddle again.
Now we just need to get out and ride those trails!!!
He has a mind of his own.

A horse gallops with his lungs,
Preservers with his heart,
And wins with his character.

TO-DAY!

With every rising of the sun

Think of your life as just begun.

The Past has canceled and buried deep

All yesterdays. There let them sleep.

Concern yourself with but today.

Grasp it and teach it to obey

Your will and plan. Since time began.

Spring Fever

These little cutie's are blooming down the street!

They are called snowdrops, snowbells, or spring snowflakes!
They are early, hardy, spring-blooming jewels.

My first experience with these precious little beauties
was 18 years ago. They were peeking up through the snow
at out neighbors house. I fell in love with them.
I don't know why I have never had any in my yard.

Lovely!

Peek A Boo Tuesdays "Showtime"

Welcome to Peek A Boo Tuesday hosted
by "A Cowgirls Grace"

Today I am sharing a few of my favorite movies!
Grab some popcorn, a box of tissues, find a seat, and enjoy!

It's SHOWTIME!!!

1990

Lt John Dunbar is dubbed a hero after he accidentally
leads union troops to a victory during the Civil War.

He requests a position on the western frontier,
but finds it deserted. He soon finds out he is not alone.

Dunbar quickly makes friends with the tribe and
discovers a white woman who was raised by Indians.

He meets a wolf he dubs "Two Socks."
He eventually is accepted into the local Sioux tribe
and is known as "Dances With Wolves."

He is enanoured by the beautiful "Stands With A Fist."

Soon after, the frontier becomes no more,
and as the army advances on the plains,
John must make a decision that will not only affect him,
but also the lives of the natives
he now calls His people.

1996
The moving story of a Hungarian mapmaker and
his dying memories of the romance that
tragically alters his life.
Burned horribly in a fiery plane crash while seeking
answers for a crime from his past.

1998

An Angel must decide if love is more important
than eternal peace.
Seth is an Angel who hovers over the
city of Los Angles, listening to peoples thoughts,
observing their lives, and guiding them to the next
world as they die.
While at a hospital, Seth sees Maggie, a dedicated heart surgeon
who attempts to save the life of a patient Seth
was to call upon.
He finds himself falling in love with her, and decides
to make himself visible so he can communicate with her.

1998

Its a cold winter night.
Grace and her best friend Judith go for a ride with their horses,
but a terrible accident changes her life forever.
A truck hits them.
Judith and her horse are killed,
while Grace and her horse Pilgrim are seriously injured,
both physically and mentally.

In an attempt to bring Pilgrim back from his now savage condition,
Grace's mother Annie takes them to Montana in search
for Tom Booker.
Tom is a "horse whisperer", a cowboy
with the ability to "communicate" with horses.

The cowboy slowly heals the Souls of Pilgrim and Grace.

1933

When a nasty neighbor tries to take Dorothy's dog Toto
away from her, she decides to run away.
A cyclone appears and carries her to the
magical land of oz.
Wishing to return, she begins to travel to the Emerald City.

Here she makes some memorable friends and foes
in her journey to meet the
"Wizard of Oz."
On her way she meets a scarecrow who needs a brain,
the tin man who wants a heart,
and a cowardly lion who desperately needs courage.

They were helped along the way by the Good Witch of the North,
but she's also in trouble with the Wicked Witch of the West,
who seeks revenge for the death of her Sister,
The Wicked Witch of the East,
which she blames Dorothy.

1939

The epic tale of a woman's life during one of the most
tumultuous periods in America's history.
From her young, innocent day on a beautiful plantation
her beloved "TARA"
to the war-torn streets of Atlanta.
"Scarlett O'Hara"

From her first love whom she always desired
to her three husbands;
from the utmost luxury to absolute starvation
and poverty;
from her innocence to her understanding
and comprehension of life.

1940

A shy lady's companion, staying in Monte Carlo
with her stuffy employer, meets
the wealthy Maxim De Winter.

She and Max fall in love, marry and return to
"Manderlay", his country estate in Corn-well.

Rebecca, in a boating accident the year before.

The second Mrs. De Winter clashes with the housekeeper,
Mrs. Danvers, and discovers Rebecca still has a strange
hold on everyone at "Manderlay."
2001

The year is 1899, and Christian,
a young English, has come to Paris to follow
the Bohemian revolution taking hold of the city's
drug and prostitute infested underworld.
And nowhere is the thrill of the underworld more
alive that at the Moulin Rouge, a night club where
the rich and poor men alike come to be entertained by
the dancers, but they take a wicked turn for
Christian as he starts a deadly love affair with
the star contessa of the club, Satine.

But her affections are also coveted by the club's patron,
The Duke.
A dangerous love triangle ensures as Satine and Christian
attempt to fight all odds to stay together,
but a force that not love can conquer is
taking it's toll on Satine.

I LOVE these movies.
I have all of them.
I aso love old black and white movies!
Hope you enjoyed the show!
