Three days until the Pony Cousins and Equicuz's
head out for the big trip!
Thanks to all of you for the nice comments
when I took my fall.
The lip has healed up nicely.
The stitches finally came out tonight,
and I am happy with the way it looks.
It will be tender for awhile.
My bruise is fading where I landed on my cell phone.
It is still pretty sore!
I am so thankful I didn't get hurt worse.
Doc took us out for a ride on Saturday, and it went well.
I have to say, my confidence has dropped a few notches!
I know my Trusty Dusty will not let anything happen.
I know what mistakes I made.
He is a good boy, and we make a great team.
He will help build my confidence back up.
I just need to get in the saddle,
and enjoy the ride!!!

You will be back up in the saddle this week for the Stampede!
I am so happy to hear you got your stitches out and now you are ready to rock and roll! Can't wait to see you!
Being with the Cousins will help your confidence. I have to pause often now and remind myself to relax and breathe.
Have fun Dusty, say hello to Desert Rose for me! You all stay safe! Luanne
Way to go ! glad you are healing well . Have a wonderful trip.
You are much braver than I am, my friend. It helps that you have all your pony-loving family and friends around to help build you back up again and give you that much needed support, too.
You're going to have so much fun this coming week! I can't wait to read and see all about it when you return!

It's awesome that you're ready to climb back up in the saddle - be brave and you'll be just fine, Cowgirl :)
The biggest hurdle is getting back on! You've accomplished that so go have a great time!
Glad all is healing well!
I'm glad your stitches finally fell out. I know they were driving you nuts. Are you all packed? At least you won't have such an owie for the stampede/rodeo!
Have a wonderful time at the Stampede! You'll get your confidence back and then some because you learn as you go.
Such good news that you are healing up already -- fast healing is a good sign. You must be a generally healthy person. Once you get back to riding it will be (almost) like it never happened!!
be safe and be careful on your trip. you will have an awesome time with your family. glad all is well with the lip!
