Life In The Fast Lane

Life never seems to slow down for me these days!

I finally planted some pansies.
Only to get home and realize they were primroses!
I know the difference, but was in a hurry.

My constant companion!
Lily Bug

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I,
A Cowgirls Grace, Pony Girl, and Loveleigh Treasures
decided we were going to start crafting.

The work has begun!!!
Here are a few of things I have made.

PILLOWS!
I want to thank June at
"Laughing With Angels"

for the rose inspiration!

You really must read her blog!
I didn't have the magazine she recommended,
so I got creative on my own.

love to add BLING!!!

Old lace doilies and chenille bedspreads.
You can't see it in this picture, but the background is
pink with silver threads running through it.

I've done a lot of soul searching and praying about this
adventure.
I believe God has his hand out and is guiding us.

~Take time to smell the roses~

lots of lace

We started hitting garage sales and the Goodwill last summer!
We have lots of goodies stashed away.

vintage bottles & music from old hymnal's

filling my heart with songs of worship and praise!

button, button, who's got the button!

One of my favorite songs
by Brandon Heath
Give me your eyes for just one second
Give me your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me your love for humanity
Give me your arms for the broken hearted
Ones that are far, beyond my reach.
Give me your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me your eyes so I can see

We have decided to rent a little space in one of the
Antique stores.

glistening! sparkling!

Lots of glitter

pleasure, or satisfaction, to enjoy
great happiness, delight

My Copperpony!
You give me such JOY!

WOW! Just love what you are doing! I might want them all and you won't have any to sell, LOL! :) I'm SO proud of you! You are so talented. I think this is going to be a great venture for our crafty family. We have the pony cousins, too. We are so lucky to have so much going in our lives, even when times can be a little tough and desolate and stressful. We have each other, we have our interests and talents that bond us and keep us strong!

Some beautiful stuff here. That bottle with the crown on is very unusual, are you sure it isn't worth something? You have a wonderful style with these things.

I have been quite curious as to what crafty projects you Cousins were up to. I was intrigued with the items you have been storing. Those are wonderful little projects and i think there are a lot of people out there who will love to take these home. And what great little gifts!
I think you are all so talented. YARMF Hugs

I love crocheted lace and doilies. So far I've made one of them. I found an old pineapple pattern from the forties at a garage sale. New it was ten cents. I paid fifty cents, cracks me up.

Really pretty creations there...Love the old bottles. I am not creative at all, so I am amazed at people who are. Love watching Copper Pony canter -- just beautiful!
