In Loving Memory

I'll Fly Away

this beautiful song seems to be a favorite of my
family's
at memorial services...

it is song 15 on my play-list
{ i am having problems setting a song to play }

my cousin Gwen and her husband Kenneth
always play their guitars and sing...

they bring tears to your eyes with their
beautiful harmonious voices...

they live their life for the LORD
Heart and Soul

a few months ago i mentioned we had a family
cemetery in the little town where my dad grew up

it sits up on a hill behind his childhood home

i always knew when it was my time to leave
this earth
this is where i wanted to be buried

it is so peaceful and beautiful here

we lost a very DEAR cousin last fall and
her memorial service was last Saturday

Vicki was 7 years old when i was born

i didn't get to spend time with her growing up

it makes me really sad that i didn't know her...

i always thought she was so beautiful

rest in peace dear cousin

i know we will meet again in HEAVEN
and
we will be little girls
playing and laughing together

some glad morning when this life is o'vr,

I'll fly away;

To a home on God's celestial shore,

I'll fly away.

I have tears...I also did not know Vicki well, seven years is alot when you are little. She was married by the time we were in JR High. You have paid a loving cosusin tribute to her, and I know that she heard you!

I am so sorry, I did not know Vicki but I know her sister and losing anyone in the family is so difficult.
Thinking of you and love you!

One of my favorite songs, too.
I'm so sorry for your loss of such a beautiful lady and family member.

I don't think I've been to the cemetery in 15 over years. I'll have to go up there next summer. It is pretty, I always figured that would be where I would be buried too. There is something special about being surrounded by family up there.
Love You!

What a really special place! Vicky was beautiful. Wish I had a CD of Kenneth & Gwen's music, always loved it. Touched me deeply at Buba's funeral.
