These little cutie's are blooming down the street!
They are early, hardy, spring-blooming jewels.
My first experience with these precious little beauties
was 18 years ago. They were peeking up through the snow
at out neighbors house. I fell in love with them.
I don't know why I have never had any in my yard.
Lovely!

Very pretty
oh my gosh those little things better go back into hybernation.
So pretty! we won't see anything like that here for a while yet
I love seeing the first little flowers of spring peeking through. The picture is the snow is fabulous! Did you take it? Soon we will begin to see primroses and crocus. I love spring!
I'm not ready for spring! We haven't even had winter (and besides, it's only January) and the birds are chirping and bulbs are sprouting? Everything is confused! It will still snow. I guarantee you! :)
The flowers are lovely though. And I do want better riding weather.... xo
Wilsonc,
I did not take the one in the snow. I cheated, I googled it!!!
Oh wow! Your photos are just gorgeous!
I planted some up here above 7,000 ft several years ago, but they never came up. I think our Winter is too long (we can get snow all the way into late May) and our Spring is way too short (lasts maybe a week or two tops!).

They really are pretty...you have no excuses...plant some for nest year!!!
I love that last photo — how pretty.
They are cheap to buy and you just pop them into the ground. I think you should get some.
I love snowdrops. We have a place near us called Hodsock Priory where they have thousands of them, like in your photo, and every February it's open to the public. People come from miles around to see them. Not quite a sign of spring when we see them here, as they will come out when it's still very cold. When the daffodils come out, then you know it's spring.
Aw, how lovely. I'm jealous. All I see in my backyard is lakes of water, and drooping roses!
Such a hardy little beauty...giving us a early glimpse of it's future promise.. lovely is right!
I love these little flowers, they promise us that Spring is on the way!
I don't think the neighbor would mind, she's pretty sweet!
i love those flowers too and have a wild one near my black walnut tree next to my path to the barn. i can't believe you all have your spring bulbs popping already! need to see if mine are coming out...
