Reflections

There are two ways to spread happiness;
either be the light who shines it
or be the mirror who reflects it.
Edith Wharton
I love mirrors!
I have many in my house.
I love their reflections!
Every mirror tells a tale...
Every reflection has a story yet to be told.
They know all your secrets..
your hopes, your dreams.
The sad times, the happy times.

I like taking pictures of animals hidden behind things.
I like to see their reflection.

Most people are mirrors,
reflecting the moods and emotions of the times.

Sydney J. Harris

Take care that the face that looks out from the
mirror in the morning is a pleasant face.
You may not see it during the day,
but others will.

Lily looks like she is smelling the roses!
She is inside looking out the window!

I took this picture inside the house.
Rosie is looking outside the same window.

Look of love!

One of my favorite pictures I've taken.
Lily always seems to get in the picture somehow.

Begin today! Now matter how feeble the light,
let it shine as best it may. The world may
need just that quality of light which you have.

What a beautiful post. The quotes were so lovely as were the photos. It really is something to remember that we are a reflection both to ourselves and the world.

I like the comment about how you should start the day with a pleasant face because even though you don't see it others will. That puts a different perspective on things. Love the pics! Have a great weekend.

Great pictures and sweet thoughts on this post! You little place looks like it should be in a magazine, it's decor and style is always so cool! Always enjoy seeing my favorite critters in your posts. Who is Rosie looking for? Papa? ;) xo

Pretty pictures! I can never show the reflections in ours because the house is always such a disaster!

I want your mirrors. I want your reflections in the mirrors! My reflections would be of piles of laundry left to be folded and vacuum cleaners sitting in corners collecting cobwebs...

I just love this post... I collect all different kinds of mirrors (some very old and some new) and have them thru out my house..I love their frames but mostly ..the way they reflect the colors and life in the room. I often look at myself in them and smile but I have never thought about what other's think when looking into them.
My hope would be that they see their smile.

Great photos and message, too. Your mirrors are all so beautiful. I don't like mirrors because I don't like to see reflections of myself. I'm too much of a perfectionist and I'd spend too much time being critical. Better to leave it alone and be grateful for the face that God gave me. lol!

I love that photo of Lilly, 'sniffing' the flowers through the window. Cool!
