Thank you sissy for posting this!!! I remeber when you, I and the Rosebud were the only 3 to ride in the 100 degree temps up to the Tee pee's. I would have worn that head dress on the ride... it didn't bother Jesse but I could not keep it from coming forward to full headdress! It was so heavy it bent my neck down forward!!!LOL
This is awesome! I have never seen the Desert Rose in anything but fancy chaps, pointy boots, cow-girly shirts, and big belt buckles. This is so refreshing!
She really had it going on that day! I actually loved everyone's outfits, even those that didn't ride. It was my favorite themed ride. Although at 104 degrees, I was not a happy camper with the prospect of saddling my horse....so no riding for me! :(
Yes, that soft focus works wonders doesn't it. I've even been using it on my 34 year old wrinkles, yes they are so there,LOL! That Indian maiden was sure dressed to the nines, I wonder if she's worn it since?
At the age of 55 I got my first horse, my beloved "Dusty." My life revolves around him. It helps to have a wonderful husband who loves him as much as I do! "I honor my horse for his brave heart, courage, and willingness to give." He brings me such joy, and I feel truly blessed to be in HIS life! I am one of the "Pony Cousin's". My daughters are Pony Girl and
Paint Girl. They are the light of my life.

That was so cool when Desert Rose brought out her headdress! The tippee in the background made it even better!
