Beautiful Day

went to the stable yesterday to find this!
sorry Copperpony
BUT
if you weren't such a stinker about fly spray
the bug-lets would not eat you!

look at this shiny hiney!
can you guess why?!
it's a beautiful day here again today!
a little sunshine does wonders for the SOUL...
my niece Sares from LOVELEIGH Treasures
posted about a mystery plant in her yard.
this is about to bloom in mine!
can you guess what it is?
i will show more pictures in a few days!!!

How come the flys are so bad there??? I didn't think they come out like that till summer. Even our flys in the desert at 100 degree's can't compare to yours!

Just looking at the picture of your horse with all the flies on his nose makes me dread the coming of summer!! The flies will be here in Indiana soon, then the mosquitos, then the HORSEFLIES! Yuk! Give me spring, fall and winter any day!
I have no idea what type of plant you have pictured here....very unusual looking.

Those are pretty bad flies for April! Do you have a fly mask for him? We just ordered Fly Predators, too. You can have my old flymask, if you want it. My horse won't wear it. Let me know and I'll clean it up and bring it for the Dustbuster next time I see you!
Glad he got a bath, finally. Did you do it outside or in the washrack?? ;) xo

Dang, I'm not looking forward to fly season.

Is that a magnolia tree?

was out yesterday with the horses too.. the flies are back in our neck of the woods as well!

I kept trying to get some cool horse eye pix.. and the flies were camera hogs!

Jan :)

That tree.. isn't it a Magnolia?

As soon as the sun comes out, it gets warm, the flies come back! We have flies terribly right now. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so they should go away for awhile.
Looks like you had a wonderful day with your copper pony!

I heard threw the grapevine that Dusty did well with his bath!

Did you ever put fly spray on a cloth and rub his face? A fly mask is a pretty reasonable way to make your pony very happy.

Oh we too are already dealing with the pesky flys!!! We tried the fly predators last year but we just have to many horses that are spread out so they didn't help tremendously but they help in smaller area's. When we order them for this year we are getting like triple of what we got last year so hopefully that will do the trick!! Good luck with the fly problem your way!!

ps- He sure does have one shiny hiney!!! What a beauty!!
